About the Instructor, Anna-Vija McClain
Anna-Vija is a small business efficiency expert with a background helping small business owners, to multi-million dollar organizations, reach unprecedented sales results through development of marketing strategy, management of budgets, and efficient execution of projects.
Over her 15 year career in hospitality and business management, Anna-Vija McClain has become and expert in marketing and networking. Starting in restaurants at the age of 16, she worked her way up in the Private Club industry, before leaving to start her own marketing services company, Piccolo.
Working with small business and entrepreneurs, she and her team provide an “outsourced Marketing Director” model, executing strategic marketing campaigns to build a successful brand. Capitalizing on her strong community connections, Anna-Vija founded Nashville Locals in 2015. The membership based networking organization focuses on creating relationship based referral partners and new connections for business owners through small meetups.
Anna-Vija is connected in the Nashville community through numerous charities, Boards, and volunteer efforts. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Mental Health America of Middle Tennessee and chairs the Marketing Committee. She serves on the Marketing Committee for the Nashville Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and is a frequent guest speaker at local events and colleges, including Belmont University and Volunteer State Community College.
